Display one or multiple Service names on the waitlist TV to eliminate confusion in waiting areas.
In Qminder TV, the title is set to WAITING LIST by default. Locations with multiple Services can configure TV settings to display one or multiple Service names in the title area.
This is especially useful for locations with multiple waiting areas, that are offering a variety of services through one TV screen.
DISPLAY SERVICE NAMES ON TV
1. Go to Location Settings and navigate to the TV screen.
2. Select the device you wish to configure and select Visible Services from TV settings.
The number of characters that can fit on your TV title depends on factors like screen size and branding customizations. Generally, you can expect to display around 35-50 characters in the title area.
3. Select the Service names you wish to display on the TV screen. When the number of characters exceeds the limit, the title area will go back to displaying the Waiting line title as default.
You can configure each TV to display different Service names and use it in facilities with multiple and smaller waiting areas or big waiting rooms that offer a variety of services. Configuring multiple TVs help reduce confusing and brings clarity to waiting areas for the visitors.
