Use the Number view in the iPad sign-in flow.
When customizing the flow in the sign-in app, you have a variety of options and the Number field is one of them.
The Number Input Field provides accuracy in the data collection, ensuring that visitors can only enter numbers and eliminating the risk of errors from entering letters or symbols.
It is best used for collecting numerical information from visitors such as quantities, party size, population, and other questions that indicate a value.
ADDING A NUMBER VIEW
To add a Number field to an iPad flow, go to the iPad settings from the Location Settings. Click on iPads, and choose the device you want to make changes to.
The middle part of the iPad settings depicts the visitor sign-in flow view by view. You can add a new view by clicking on the plus button.
Choose the type-in: number view type from the drop-down menu to add a Number field to the iPad sign-in flow.
Choose the location where you want to insert the number view in the sign-in flow, and click on + Add the view button.
Write the question, and configure settings for mandatory fields. Click on the Save & go live button when you are done with configuring the iPad sign-in flow.
CONFIGURING NUMBER VIEW SETTINGS
To configure the number view settings such as minimum and maximum value, or decimal places, you need to go to Location Settings > Input Fields & Labels.
The new views you create in any iPad flow settings will automatically appear in Input Fields settings. Once the new view's settings are configured in the Input Fields settings page, it will apply to iPad flow.
NB!: Fields that are added in Input Field settings are not synchronized with iPad settings, and won't appear in iPad flow view options.
However, views that are added under iPad flow settings will automatically appear in Input Field settings and can be further configured in here.

CREATING A LOGIC STEP WITH NUMBER VIEW
Use the number view in a logic step to ask follow-up questions that require numerical answers.
For example, if your facility serves groups of visitors together, deals with high quantities of orders, or has similar use cases, the Number field is necessary to ensure data accuracy in visitors' answers during check-in. The aligned data in Visitor History can be used by managers to analyze trends and calculate statistics easily.
Let's use an example where the facility provides services to families.
In this iPad sign-in flow, we are asking visitors the question Are you visiting alone or with family? The visitor can choose Alone or Family as an answer. If they choose Family, the iPad flow continues and asks the party size, requiring numerical input as an answer.
To use the number view as a follow-up question, click on the desired view from the visitor sign-in flow and click on the + Create logic step from the right below side of the screen.
Configure the IF the visitor's section settings.

Choose the Selected options from the drop-down menu. The selected option will follow or skip the flow based on the is one of the following settings.
In this example, we chose Is one of the following and Family as Selected options.
Next, create the number view to add to your iPad flow. Click on the arrow icon next to THEN go to #end and choose + Add. Choose type-in: number from the drop-down menu.
Your new number view created! Click on the new view from the iPad flow and follow the same steps above to configure the settings.
Save the changes live from the top right corner of the page and go live!
