How to sign in on the iPad

Visitor begins sign-in
The visitor taps the iPad screen to start. -
Service selection
They select the desired service (customizable with multiple service lines). -
Visitor information
They enter their first name, and optionally other details, such as:- Preferred language
- Phone number (for SMS messaging)
- Birthdate
- Other custom questions

Complete sign-in
The visitor is added to the queue and can wait until called. Clerks can view all visitor information on Qminder’s Service View, helping them to prepare for each visitor.
Setting up Qminder on the iPad
- Hardware Requirements: Ensure your iPad meets the hardware requirements.
- Sturdy Stand: Place the iPad on a secure stand for smooth usage.
- Customize Service lines and questions: Configure each iPad to display specific service lines and customize check-in questions if needed (e.g., different services at different locations).
- Operating Hours: The iPad will display a “closed” sign outside of operating hours to prevent sign-ins.
